1928 Springfield Phantom I is the 2nd Brewster Ascot (Body no B5415) and was delivered to the Los Angeles office as a demo car. In the mid 1930s, it went back to Brewster for an update. At that time, it was converted to the later lighting set (conical Hall lamps replacing the Bosch & Lomb drum lamps), later style bumpers (flat, double bar type replacing the earlier tubular style), full instrument board and the Derby profile top.
