1933 Packard Twelve Dietrich Victoria

Purchased new by Margaret Vanderbilt for her son Alfred on his 21st birthday. The car was ordered in the Thoroughbred racing silk colors of Sagamore Farm, their sprawling racehorse farm in Glendon, Maryland. The car stayed in his ownership until 1941 when it passed to Bradford Blake, who kept the car for 71 years until his passing in 2012. The car was then purchased by Don Ghareeb, who performed a 7,000-hour painstaking restoration involving all the known and respected Packard experts. At the time of the restoration, the car had 18,000 original miles. We know this to be true because the door jams contained a Sinclair oil change tag from 1949, indicating 16,500 miles. The odometer picked up miles when the car was moved from long-term storage. Painstakingly restored to exact factory specification, with all original parts to the car. When found in 2012, it was a completely original and untouched car.
