The Jaguar XK 120 is an icon of it’s era. The XK engine, originally made to power four door luxury sedans, was placed within a small roadster so Jaguar could display their engineering at the 1948 Earls Court Motor Show. Originally named for the factory rated top speed, the XK 120 quickly carved a name for itself within the automotive world. The SE version was specifically built for the American market, with left hand drive, wire wheels, dual exhaust and a higher power 180hp engine. This XK 120 SE was originally sold by Hornburg Distributors of LA to a family in Michigan in 1954, it was later passed on to the daughter of the family before being put for auction in 2020. American Dream Machine purchased the car and proceeded to perform a partial restoration. It was then purchased by its now current owner in 2023.
